Kador Engineering Overview

Kador Engineering is a privately owned Australian engineering firm founded in 1972. Over the years we have established a history of manufacture of quality engineered products for Australia's largest resource and energy companies including BHP Billiton, Santos, Xstrata and Rio Tinto. Kador also manufactures components and products for Terex Lifting, Bucyrus Australia, Hastings Deering and Westrac (Caterpillar), Komatsu, Hitachi and the Queensland Government.

In addition to our work for the resources industry we also manufacture pressure vessels to AS 1210, and process piping and skids, for the oil and gas industry.

Kador operates from three manufacturing plants in Brisbane and employs more than 180 qualified trades people with diverse skills. The Company's head office is at 14 Boron Street, Sumner Park. Other Brisbane manufacturing facilities are at Sherwood and Carole Park. A new facility to service the Galilee and Bowen Basin coalfields is now being developed in Emerald.

Kador's commitment to safety, environmental management and quality is well established, and our management systems are accredited to the relevant international ISO standards in all three areas.

Our main market is Australia, but we have also supplied our products to Asia and the Pacific region.
